I have spent over a decade as a docent at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago where I’ve gained a deep understanding of the contemporary art market while learning alongside some of the best curators in the world.  I bring that body of knowledge to work for my clients.  I firmly believe that buying art shouldn’t feel overwhelming but invigorating, inspiring and must bring along a true sense of magic.

I serve on the Board of Directors for the DePaul Art Museum as well as committee member for the Lakeview/Roscoe Village Public Art Works Committee. I have served as guest curator for Alma, Art & Interiors which is an exhibit featuring leading Chicago and international artists merged with mid-century furniture and antiques in a century old loft.

I proudly support local artist initiatives such as the Chicago Artist Coalition and the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park.

LKM Art Consulting was founded by me because of my deep passion for contemporary art and all the hard working artists. I take the intimidation, pretentiousness and confusion out of the art buying process. By simplifying and streamlining an often overwhelming process, LKM clients will be better educated about the contemporary art scene which helps them better understand and articulate their personal vision. As a result, my clients end up purchasing artworks that resonate on a very deep and emotional level.

LKM makes the art buying process organic, free flowing and incredibly fun. It begins with an initial consultation and goes from there. LKM will get to know each client and help them identify their own vision, even when they aren’t so sure themselves. Clients will be taken on inspiring artist studio and gallery visits where they can meet artists first hand, inside their own studios. Visual art presentations along with other visualization tools are provided to help conceptualize how artworks would look in specific spaces. LKM will meet client’s wherever they are in their art buying process. Whether you are looking to purchase your first “real” artwork or add to an existing collection, we can help at all stages.

LKM will guide you during this journey and leverage our longstanding relationships with artists and galleries locally and from around the world to ensure best pricing and priority buying. With a finger always on the pulse, LKM stays abreast of what’s newly releasing in the art scene and always keeps an eye out for promising, emerging artists.

LKM takes art sourcing seriously.

In fact, it’s a full time job. Lots of time is spent traveling, conducting artist studio visits, exploring gallery exhibits/museums and visiting art shows both big and small in order to develop a portfolio of resources that ensures that every LKM project remains one-of-a -kind. It takes a lot of hard work, time and energy to stay on top of the ever-changing contemporary art market of today.
